Many people come to yoga because they feel stiff, stressed, overwhelmed, or tired. Yoga helps ease tension in the body, calm a busy mind, and support emotional balance.
Over time, it can improve flexibility, reduce aches and pains, help you sleep better, and give you tools to manage anxiety or burnout. It’s not just about moving, it’s about feeling better in your body and mind.
My classes are open to everyone, perfect for beginners, those returning to yoga, or anyone looking to reduce stress and reconnect with their breath. I offer plenty of options and modifications so you can move in a way that feels right for your body.
It’s not about getting into the “perfect” pose, it’s about feeling good in your body and honouring where you are today. If something doesn’t feel right, you’re always welcome to skip it, try an alternative, or rest. This is your time.
My classes extend for a duration of 75 minutes, giving you plenty of time to slow down, move mindfully, and enjoy a full practice without feeling rushed.
This includes breathwork, gentle movement (asana), and a guided relaxation at the end. Whether you're joining for stress relief, flexibility, strength, or simply to feel better in your body, there's space for it here.
You don’t need to be flexible to start yoga that’s one of the most common myths! Yoga is for every body, and my classes are designed to meet you where you are. Over time, you'll build mobility, strength, and confidence at your own pace. I offer variations and modifications throughout, so you can listen to your body and move in a way that feels good for you.
Not at all, whether you're a regular or just dropping in for a yoga class, I provide all the essentials: mats, blocks, and straps. If you’d like to bring a blanket for extra comfort or warmth during relaxation, please do! Once you feel that yoga is something you’d like to do regularly, that might be the perfect time to invest in your own mat, but there’s no rush. Just show up, settle in, and enjoy.
I value flexibility in more ways than one. Drop-in classes are available, allowing you the freedom to attend whenever it suits your schedule. Whether it's once a month or multiple times a week, there's no need for a significant commitment. The space is open to you whenever you feel the need to join.
Absolutely, men are very welcome! While yoga classes are often seen as being mostly for women, that couldn’t be further from the truth.
Yoga has deep roots in male tradition, with legendary teachers like B.K.S. Iyengar and T. Krishnamacharya shaping the practice we know today.
If you're a man dealing with back pain, tight hips or hamstrings, stress, poor sleep, or limited mobility from working long hours or lifting weights, yoga can be a game-changer.
Many men come to yoga to improve flexibility, relieve tension, support injury recovery, and calm the mind, without needing to be flexible to begin with. No perfect poses, just real benefits for real bodies.
You don’t need any fancy yoga clothes to join, just wear something comfy that you can move in easily. Think stretchy joggers, leggings, or shorts, and a breathable top that stays in place when you move. Layers can be helpful, especially if the room starts cool and warms up as we go.
Most people practise yoga barefoot, but if you prefer a little extra grip or feel more comfortable with your feet covered, non-slip yoga socks are totally welcome.
If you have long hair, tying it back helps keep it out of your face during movement and relaxation.
Absolutely, and you're not alone. I understand how anxiety can make stepping into a new space feel overwhelming. You're invited to arrive 10 minutes before class so I can walk you through what to expect and help you choose a spot in the room where you’ll feel most at ease.
There’s no pressure to get everything “right” this is a calm, supportive environment where you can move at your own pace. Many students come to yoga looking for ways to manage anxiety, reduce stress, and reconnect with their body in a gentle, grounding way.
As someone who lived with anxiety for over 15 years, I truly get it. This class is a safe space for you to simply breathe, move, and feel supported, just as you are.
